How to translate CyberArticle to your local language?

Translate the User Interface

  1. Please find your Locate ID from the "Locale ID Chart.htm" file. For example, the Locate ID of "Chinese - China" is 2052;

  2. Create a new folder in the "CyberArticle Installation Path\translations" folder and name it by using the Locate ID such as 2052;

  3. Copy all the files in the "CyberArticle Installation Path\translations\default" folder into the new folder; Open and edit the new *.ini files directly by Notepad; Wherein, the original English is on the left of the equal sign; Please edit the content of the right to your local language;

  4. Open CyberArticle and switch the interface language to your local language in "Main Menu->Tools->Options"; Restart CyberArticle so as to view the translation directly.

Translate Sample Book

Find "CyberArticle installation catalog\Books\". Copy "Sample.xbook" to a new file and rename it to "Sample_xxxx.xbook". Wherein, "xxxx" is your Locale ID.

Open this new book by CyberArticle and edit the nodes and articles therein directly.

Translate Firefox extension

Find "CyberArticle Installation Path\firefox\" folder. Copy "readme.htm" to a new file and rename it to "readme_xxxx.htm". Edit this file directly.

Translate the User Interface of Setup Program

Modify the "setup.txt" file directly.
